Wow, just got the album (finally it's only been out since what? 83-84?) and I can't believe it. I played the first song and Hit the Lights took me in chewed me up and didn't spit me back out. Amazing. Then with the four Horsemen following soon after I could barely stand it. I had grown up with Metallica basically from Black and forward simply because that's the only albums my dad liked and I am basically to poor to afford Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, Load And Re-load. (Yes Load and Re-Load came out in late nintes and St Anger was out in like 04 but we still don't have those either.)But if your looking for the better side of Metallica this would be the CD for you. If you ask me Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and Kill Em All are Metallica's legacy. F.Y.I. Cliff Burton was a Genius.
